GRETA VAN FLEET Beat Out GHOST, ALICE IN CHAINS For Best Rock Album GRAMMY 2019

The final rock award given on the pre-show was the Best Rock album.

As a refresher, the nominees were:

Alice in Chains – Rainier Fog
Fall Out Boy – M A N I A
Ghost – Prequelle
Greta Van Fleet – From the Fires
Weezer – Pacific Daydream

Greta Van Fleet took the category. They were not in the audience to accept the award, but I did spot Tobias Forge of Ghost there, just in case.

Ghost got shut out of both of their nominations, they were also nominated for Best Rock Song but lost to St. Vincent.
